A quick boat ride brings us to Isola San Giulio, where you can walk a path near the picturesque Basilica di San Giulio. Overnight in Orta San Giulio.

  3. 3rd day Mottarone & Isola Bella (1h30)

Transfer to Stresa. With the funicular you ride up to the mountain of Mottarone (4891 feet), which divides Lake
Maggiore from Lake Orta, and offers one of the most breathtaking views of the lakes and the distant Alps. In
the afternoon hop aboard a boat to the island of Isola Bella to explore the 18th century Villa Borromeo and its
grounds, now a world famous botanical garden. Overnight in Orta San Giulio.

  6. 6th day Vernazza / Corniglia / Riomaggiore (2h30-3h)

Continue hiking to Corniglia enjoying fantastic vistas of the sea. After exploring the enchanting village, take the train to visit beautiful Riomaggiore, the fifth hamlet of the Cinque Terre, before returning to the hotel. Overnight in Monterosso.
